Senior Project Manager
based in the Midlands, with travel required to London. You will play a crucial role in bringing structure, governance, and rigour to a highly skilled engineering team. Your expertise in project management and engineering background will enable you to guide this talented group, ensuring they deliver cutting-edge AI and robotics solutions while adhering to processes and keeping stakeholders informed.
Responsibilities
Provide strong project management leadership to a team of brilliant engineers, helping them navigate projects and deliver results
Establish and maintain robust project management processes, including planning, monitoring, and reporting
Collaborate closely with the engineering team to understand their work and provide guidance on best practices
Communicate project status and progress to key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment
Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies to keep projects on track
Continuously look for opportunities to improve project management practices and drive efficiency
Qualifications
Significant experience as a Senior Project Manager, preferably in an engineering or technology-focused environment
Strong technical background, with a good understanding of software development, AI, and robotics
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and deliver complex projects
Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and fostering a collaborative, productive work environment
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences
Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Proactive problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset
Relevant certifications, such as PMP or Agile, would be highly desirable
