The Role:As a Shunter Driver, you will be responsible for manoeuvring and positioning trailers safely across the yard and supporting the wider transport and warehouse operation. Duties will include:Safely manoeuvring and parking vehicles and trailers within the yardPositioning trailers at loading bays to support inbound and outbound operationsCarrying out daily vehicle and trailer safety checksReporting defects in line with Vehicle Off Road (VOR) proceduresCompleting trailer movements safely and efficiently according to the daily operational planCoupling and uncoupling trailers safely when requiredMaintaining accurate records of trailer and vehicle movementsCommunicating effectively with the Yard, Transport, ..... full job details .....
