This role will draw upon your knowledge of Microsoft and Linux systems, as well as Networking and Cybersecurity technologies. You will initially support senior colleagues to carry out a variety of services including Vulnerability Assessments, investigation of security incidents, penetration tests and cyber-attack monitoring, eventually working towards completing these independently.As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be responsible for interacting with a range of clients, using excellent communication skills along with your proven technical ability to provide a first-class customer experience. You will also be required to create high-quality reports from your findings, discussing solutions with a variety of stakeholders.As a wider Cybersecurity team, we benefit from partner status with market leading vendors including Sophos, Tenable and Microsoft, enabling us to successfully protect our customers from security threats. Keep up to date with the latest security and technology developmentsResearch/evaluate emerging cybersecurity threats and ways to manage themGenerate reports for both technical and non-technical staff and stakeholdersMonitor for attacks, intrusions and unusual, unauthorised or illegal activityInvestigate security alerts and provide incident responseCarry out Vulnerability Assessments and communicate directly with clientsAssist senior team members in carry out penetration testsWork to company agreed procedures including client SLA’sLiaise with customers in relation to cybersecurity issues and provide future recommendationsBuild effective working relationships and become a trusted advisor for clientsEnsure that all services are carried out efficiently and correctly, meeting internal business and client expectationsBenefits

Working Knowledge of the following:Microsoft and Linux Operating SystemsNetworking and Workplace technologiesCybersecurity solutions and related technologiesExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal)Attention to detailPrevious experience in a customer-service or customer-facing roleDemonstrable organisation skills, with a logical approach to problem solvingProven ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines, and cope with fluctuations in workloadsKnowledge of industry best practice, incident management disciplines and networking principlesValid Right to Work in the UK (We do not currently hold a visa sponsorship licence)Willingness to undergo a pre-employment DBS check and a Counter Terrorist Check if successful, due to the nature of our clientDesirable
Previous experience within a Cybersecurity/IT MSP roleKnowledge of programming/scripting languages (C, C#, Python, Go, NIM etc)Experience in Cyber Security CTF’s (Hack The Box, TryHackMe etc)Apply Online
