South East London | Up to -75,000 + Package | Main Contractor

An opportunity has come up with a long-established South East London main contractor specialising in refurbishment and construction within existing buildings.

Operating for over 85 years, the business delivers a varied portfolio of refurbishment, maintenance and fit-out projects across London and the South East, working across residential, education, commercial, heritage and public-sector schemes.

They are now looking for a well-rounded Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

This isn''t a role where you''ll be pigeonholed into one part of the commercial process. You''ll get involved across both pre and post-contract, including:

• Tendering, measurement and pricing

• Subcontractor procurement

• Valuations and variations

• CVRs, forecasting and cost control

• Subcontract accounts

• Final accounts

The business has a flat structure, giving you direct exposure to Contracts Managers and Directors, with plenty of autonomy and responsibility.

Ideally, you''ll have experience working for a main contractor within refurbishment, maintenance or construction within existing buildings. Experience with JCT contracts, Schedule of Rates/NHF and measured works would be particularly useful.

Salary: Up to -75,000 + package
Location: South East London
Working: Predominantly office-based with site visits across London
