Job Title: Multi Skilled Engineer Location: Merseyside (L34)Salary: £45,423 basic plus £4k per year shift allowance - Plus Overtime. Shift: Nights10pm - 6am Monday - Friday The role:As the Multi Skilled Engineer, you will support the smooth running of the factory by providing effective Electrical and Mechanical maintenance and ensuring business needs and targets are met through adherence to the plant maintenance programme. Duties and Responsibilities:Perform physical and visual checks on site machinery.Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs).Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.Respond to breakdowns and minimise downtime.Carry out repairs, upgrades and installations.Complete system checks and pre-start inspections.Maintain accurate maintenance and testing records.Monitor spare parts stock and update spares lists.Work safely in line with company Health and Safety and hygiene policies.Work with subcontractors and ensure permits and method statements are followed.Liaise with site supervisors and management when required.Support continuous improvement through 5S and lean manufacturing principles.Undertake training to maintain up-to-date technical knowledge.
