We require a skilled and motivated CNC Setter to join our Machine Shop Team, based at our site in Abercynon South Wales.Key ResponsibilitiesSet and operate CNC machines (including lathes and/ or milling machines).Interpret technical drawings and work instructions to ensure accurate machining.Select and install appropriate tools and fixtures.Perform quality checks and first off inspections to ensure product conformance. Optimise machine settings for efficiency and accuracy.Monitor equipment performance and report issues proactively.Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with HSE standards.Qualifications, Skills and AttributesSkills and ExperienceProven experience as a CNC setter in a precision engineering environment.Strong understanding of machining processes and tool selection.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Proven experience programming with Fanuc and Num controls; experience with Mazatrol is highly desirable.Good problem solving skills and attention to detail.
