Contract Accountant

4-5 Month Contract | -400 per day | Hybrid Working

We are supporting an innovative automotive engineering and technology business in its search for a Contract Accountant to provide additional support during a busy year-end and reporting period.
This is a hands-on role focused on financial reporting, reconciliations, cost analysis, and supporting key accounting deadlines.

• Review cut-off processes and reporting
• Trial balance reviews
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Cost reporting and analysis
• Investigate financial discrepancies
• Fixed asset accounting, capitalisation and depreciation
• Maintain the fixed asset register
• Support statutory accounts and allocations
• Analyse financial and salary data

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred, although strong QBE candidates will be considered
• Strong financial and management accounting experience
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to quickly integrate into an existing team and deliver results

• -400 per day
• 4-5 month contract
• Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)
