The school provides specialist therapeutic education for young people aged with autism and a range of other learning differences and SEND needs, offering a highly personalised environment for pupils whose previous experiences of education have presented significant barriers to learning. The school provides a broad and ambitious curriculum, with individualised pathways designed around pupils'' needs, aspirations and intended next steps. With national SEND reform placing increasing emphasis on high-quality education, stronger leadership and improved outcomes for vulnerable learners, this is an important appointment. The successful candidate will help strengthen leadership capacity, develop teaching and learning and ensure the school continues to provide an ambitious and appropriate education for its pupils.
