This is a fully office-based role (5 days per week) and would suit someone who has gained well-rounded accounting experience within an SME environment and is comfortable being involved in the full accounting process up to trial balance level.The finance team consists of the Finance Director and this position, so the successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business. This position would suit someone who enjoys working within a small team environment where everyone supports each other and covers across responsibilities when needed.Candidates should live within a commutable distance to Royston and be comfortable working in an office-based setting.The Role End-to-end production of monthly management accounts, from transaction processing through to final reporting. Managing month-end processes, including journals, balance sheet reconciliations and reporting. Preparing and posting journals and maintaining accurate financial records. Performing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring financial integrity. Preparing and submitting VAT returns. Processing receipts and payments. Managing sales and purchase invoicing.
