Our client, a prominent player in the Defence and Security sector, is seeking experienced Maintenance Support Engineers to join their Maritime Services business unit on a 12-month contract. This opportunity is based in Scotstoun, Portsmouth, with hybrid working arrangements allowing 1-2 days per week ron site.Role: Applies understanding of a range of ILS processes, tools, systems and techniques, and applies these to the review and analysis of supplier data, components or systems. Understands and develops solutions to common or well-articulated ILS Support situations, problems and issues.Reviewing maintenance / supplier / internal generated maintenance data.Supporting and training, spares analysis, coaching and mentoring will be provided if required.Conducting analysis of tools and test equipment required to support maintenance.Key Responsibilities:Providing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) solutions for maritime defence projectsPerforming detailed ILS analysis and documentationEnsuring compliance with relevant defence standards and regulationsCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate ILS processesSupporting the development of maintenance and support plansContributing to the optimisation of supportability and lifecycle costsMaintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologiesIf you are an experienced ILS Engineer looking for a challenging role within the Defence and Security sector, we would love to hear from you.
