Job Description

With the Security Team you will:

Conduct threat and risk analysis and participate in the development of mitigation strategiesAssist in the development and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and best practicesEnhance the security posture of the entity hosted in public cloud or on-prem environmentTranslate security and technical requirements into business requirements and communicate security risks to different audiences ranging from business leaders to engineers.Collaborate with IT and other business units to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of technology and operationsDevelop the infrastructure and platform to automate vulnerability management and security reporting.This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.Strong software development background (Python, Java)Agile / Scrum experienceStrong understanding of network, application, and system securityExperience with cloud security services (AWS, Azure, GCP)Experience with deploying secure infrastructure into cloud environmentsExperience with CI/CD pipelinesPreferred Qualifications:

8 or more years of work experience in CybersecurityAWS Security Specialty certificationTechnical experience with programming, technology infrastructure, and securityExperience in deploying resources using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)Experience in securing Kubernetes servicesExtensive knowledge in OWASP Web Top 10 and CWE Top 25Strong written and oral communication skills to document reports on assessments and communicate potential weaknesses and risks to different audiences ranging from business leaders to engineers.
