Our client, a renowned company in the aerospace industry, is currently seeking a permanent Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on maintaining the highest levels of quality and process assurance within design and development projects, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement. The position is based in Fareham and involves working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and business partners.Key Responsibilities:Develop and handle external QA interfaces on projectsReview and approve design and development documents to ensure conformance with quality system requirementsDevelop Quality Plans to meet stakeholder, contractual, and regulatory needsAudit project lifecycles to ensure compliance with aerospace standards such as ARP4754, ED-80, and ED-12CEnsure customer requirements, design review criteria, and transition criteria are satisfiedEnsure items used for conformance assessment comply with the associated life cycle dataDetect, manage, and agree on deviations to the design processHandle all QA matters throughout the development contract lifecycleJob Requirements:Experience in Quality Engineering and Quality Assurance within the aerospace sectorAwareness of project development lifecycle and knowledge of AS9100, ARP4754A, DO178b/c, and D0254Bachelor''s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong prioritisation, analytical, and research ..... full job details .....
