Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location: Liverpool
Salary: £40,000 – £42,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 4.30pm (early finish at 3.30pm on Fridays)

We’re working with a well-established manufacturer based in Liverpool who are expanding their on-site Engineering Team. They’re after a hands-on, electrically-biased Multi-Skilled Engineer who enjoys a bit of variety in their day-to-day and can hit the ground running.

This is a great opportunity if you prefer being part of a smaller, close-knit team where you’re not just a number – and where your input and ideas will actually be listened to.

You’ll be covering a good mix of:

• Planned preventative maintenance on electro-mechanical equipment

• First-response breakdowns and reactive repairs

• Root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects

• Keeping records updated via the site’s CMMS system

• Supporting H&S activities including risk assessments

• Working alongside contractors and contributing to projects

It’s a varied role where you won’t just be stuck on the same machine every day.

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering

• Confident fault-finding and problem-solving skills

• Comfortable reading both electrical and mechanical schematics

• Knowledge of PLC logic (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi)

• Some exposure to motion control, pneumatics, and hydraulics

• Comfortable working at height or in confined spaces when needed

• Experience with milling equipment is a bonus, but not a dealbreaker
