About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber to join a leading contractor delivering responsive repairs and maintenance across social housing properties throughout Manchester.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance within occupied and void social housing properties.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing faults efficiently and to a high standard.
• Install, maintain and repair:
  • Taps, toilets and sinks
  • Baths and showers
  • Pipework and waste systems
  • Radiators and valves
  • Cylinders and water tanks
• Trace and repair leaks.
• Carry out minor multi-trade works where required, including basic tiling, patch plastering and carpentry.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company standards.
• Provide excellent customer service while working in tenants'' homes.
• Complete job reports using a handheld device.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Plumber, ideally within social housing, responsive repairs or property maintenance.
• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification (desirable).
• Experience working in occupied properties.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of current health and safety regulations.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
