Trainee Accountant Proactive Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Accountancy Practice in Wolverhampton, who are looking to appoint a Trainee Accountant. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and motivated individual, who is looking to start a rewarding career in Accountancy. No previous experience is required. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in accountancy and business. Hours: Mon-Fri 37.5 hours per week Salary: Up to 27,000 per annum. Duties include but not limited to: Assisting with bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records Processing client accounting information Preparing VAT returns Assisting with the preparation of Year End and Management Accounts Assisting with Personal and Corporate tax compliance work Using cloud accounting software such as Xero and Sage Communicating with clients to obtain information and answer routine queries Ideal Candidate: Has a genuine interest in accountancy, finance and business Is motivated to learn and develop professionally Has strong numerical and analytical skills Demonstrates excellent attention to detail Is organised, reliable and able to manage their workload effectively Has good communication and interpersonal skills Is confident using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel Works well as part of a team Has achieved GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English What we offer: A fully funded AAT ..... full job details .....
