Finance Officer

Overview
The RoleWe are looking for a proactive and organised Finance Officer to join a reputable construction company in London. This is an admin focused support role where you’ll play an important part in keeping day to day financial operations running smoothly. It’s also an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn, develop, and grow within a finance career, with plenty of scope to take on more responsibility over time.Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the finance team, ensuring accurate record-keeping and data entry.Assist with processing invoices, purchase orders, and supplier payments.Support with payroll administration and expenses.Maintain financial records and assist in preparing reports.Help track project budgets and update financial spreadsheets.Assist with subcontractor payments and CIS administration.Liaise with colleagues, suppliers, and contractors to resolve finance queries.Contribute to the smooth running of finance processes and identify areas for improvement.Qualifications
Previous experience in finance, accounts, or administration (construction industry experience an advantage but not essential).Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.Confident with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Willingness to learn financial systems (training provided).Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.Ambition to develop and progress within a finance career.What We Offer
