We buildSoftware tools and are on a Kubernetes (K8s) journey.

Our ideal candidate:

Has 3+ years of Kubernetes experience (ideally 7+ years in software development).

Is experienced with open-source software and community building.

Has worked in small, self-organizing teams with clear objectives.

Is experienced in ideation, quick prototyping, and scaling products.

Is passionate about helping developers and builders.

Is opinionated yet humble, open-minded, results-oriented, and accountable.

Experience with startup or project failures is a plus.

Required power and experience:

8+ years of software development experience.

3+ years of cloud-native experience, including Kubernetes and Docker.

Understanding of front-end frameworks like React/Redux.

Experience with API definitions (OpenAPI, GraphQL).

Proficiency in at least one server-side language (Go, Java, Python).

Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Production experience with a public cloud provider (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

Experience with Git, GitOps/CD, CI processes.

Familiarity with agile tools and methods.

Strong communication skills.
