Job Title: Pipefitter Salary: £40,016 per annum + shift allowance + overtime Location: Glasgow We currently have a vacancy to join one of the world s leading, global defence, security and aerospace companies as a Pipefitter. The role will be based in Glasgow and will require the successful candidate to be on site full time working a varied shift pattern (please see details below). The company works at the cutting edge of technology, creating more than 100 new inventions every year for customers in over 100 countries. They are looking for a skilled and experienced Pipefitter to join their team in Clyde. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and installing piping systems across a range of projects in the defence sector. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of piping installations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. There are 3 shifts available (although the successful candidate would start on a day shift and would then discuss with their manager if they would prefer a different shift) and the hours of work within each shift are highlighted below. Please note that both the night shift and the weekend shift will include a 33% shift allowance on top of the basic rate.
