Known for their strong market presence and collaborative culture, they are now looking to welcome an experienced and motivated Accounts Assistant to their finance team.Your new role As part of a supportive and fast-paced finance function, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes. Your responsibilities will include:Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, including drafting and posting journalsAssisting with monthly balance sheet reconciliationsMaintaining and updating the Fixed Asset RegisterPreparing and reporting on costsSupporting intercompany reconciliationsPosting and reconciling Direct DebitsProcessing employee expenses and company credit card transactionsEnsuring all tasks are completed in line with group reporting deadlinesProviding flexible support to purchase ledger and credit control teams, including holiday coverThis is a varied and hands-on role, offering excellent exposure across multiple areas of finance.What you''ll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will bring:Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance roleStrong IT skills, particularly in ExcelA highly organised and proactive approach, with strong attention to detailThe ability to work independently, manage your own workload, and meet tight deadlinesA positive attitude and ..... full job details .....
