Consultant Psychiatrist in Learning Disabilities – Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Based at St Mary''s Hospital, Kettering, Northamptonshire.Responsibilities

Demonstrate a commitment to clinical excellence and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.Lead and collaborate with colleagues; travel to all locations within the Trust is essential.Engage in clinical research opportunities with access to the Trust research fellows to help develop ideas; contribute to research studies in Old Age Dementia and Physical Health.Participate in teaching opportunities with undergraduates from Leicester Medical School.Qualifications

MRC Psych or equivalent with full registration, licensed and specialist registered or within six months of obtaining your CCT on the date of the Advisory Appointment Committee.Benefits/Extras

£40,000 welcome bonus to the successful candidate, paid over the course of the first two years in post. The Trust leads nationally on physical treatments in mental health, nurse administered ECT, and ketamine infusion. Research collaborations with Open University, and with Nottingham, Oxford and Northampton Universities. The Trust hosts undergraduates from Leicester Medical School with opportunities to teach.Location
