Senior Business Development Manager - Energy and ResourcesAs a Senior Business Development Manager focused on the Energy and Resources industry at Endava, you will identify new clients and introduce them to our capabilities and IT services. You will guide these new customers through the entire sales cycle, offering solutions that enable enterprise transformation of their IT environment. Your primary focus will be in the UK and European locations, with the potential to engage with globally-focused accounts.Company description: Technology is our how. And people are our why. Serve as the trusted advisor selling IT professional services to potential clients to showcase our capability and build long-standing collaborative relationships.Identify potential target clients through lead generation, cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research.Execute an end-to-end client sales cycle from acquisition of new clients to closing deals and driving revenue growth.Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and prospects aligned with sales goals.Negotiate, manage, and close strategic new business deals.Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives, delivering revenue goals.Apply consulting skills and deep knowledge of the industry to become the Subject Matter Expert on technology challenges within the vertical and for clients.Grow your book-of-business, drive revenue growth, and participate in an aggressive commission model.Opportunity to participate in speaking events, workshops, panels, and conferences as a thought leader.Participate in external industry events.Qualifications

8-10+ years of new business development experience focused on selling offshore/nearshore IT professional services.Significant experience within the Energy and Resources industry with understanding of industry trends and challenges.Existing warm network of contacts or previously served customers in Energy and Resources.Experience leading strategic new business development initiatives for large enterprise clients.Sales-driven professional with hunter-centric experience: prospecting, cold calling, qualifying leads, presenting, negotiating, closing, and relationship building.Ability to identify industry pain points and engage with and persuade VP or C-level decision-makers.Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets.Track record of success in new business development, e.g., achieving £5M+ quota per year.Experience preparing and presenting proposals, business cases, and statements of work.Additional Requirements

Travel is an integral part of this role; the individual will need to travel locally, within country, and internationally as needed. A valid passport and driving license are required, and travel may occur during working hours.Work-related tradeshows or live events may require supporting our presence there.Additional Information
