SEND Teacher

A school in Kidderminster is looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis, working 5 days per week. The successful candidate will be working with children who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism, Behavioural Issues, and Trauma.Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the specific needs of children with SEMH, Autism, and TraumaProvide support to students with challenging behaviour''s in a positive and structured mannerCollaborate closely with the SENCO, teaching assistants, and other support staffDevelop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and adjustments as necessaryEnsure a safe and nurturing environment for all students to thrive academically and emotionallyEssential Requirements:PGCE/QTS is a must (Qualified Teacher Status)Experience working with children with SEMH, Autism, Behavioral Issues, and TraumaStrong classroom management skills and the ability to engage children with additional needsA patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to teachingExcellent communication skills and a team playerA passion for supporting children''s development and well-beingWhy Apply?A rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with complex needsLong-term role with a supportive school environmentCompetitive salary based on experienceFull-time, stable role with the potential for further development and career ..... full job details .....
