North Middlesex University Hospital (North Mid) are searching for an experienced and passionate Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their highly skilled and enthusiastic team.North Middlesex provides both hospital and community care, helping to keep people in the best possible health at every stage in their lives.Its maternity, children, and adult services span a range of medical and surgical specialities and its adult and children’s emergency departments are among the busiest in London.North Mid is also proud to offer one of the largest services in the UK dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of red cell haemoglobin conditions, including sickle cell disease and thalassaemia syndromes.Responsibilities

To provide leadership and to work as part of the Occupational Therapy team, providing a high standard of Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment.This post holder is responsible for the provision of an Occupational Therapy service within a designated area and reports directly to the Clinical Specialists in Occupational Therapy. They work collaboratively within integrated multidisciplinary teams to offer a comprehensive patient centred service.Professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of the practitioner’s professional activities.To be responsible for own, and other Occupational Therapists in the designated team, competent and safe use of equipment /aids and to adhere to department policies.To ensure that all equipment defects, accidents and complaints are reported to the clinical specialist immediately and appropriate action is taken by those concerned.Requirements

UK Pharmacy Degree or equivalent.Full registration with the GPhC or undertaking pre-registration training due to be completed by the time of appointment.Prior pharmacy related work experience.Benefits
