Finance Manager 45,000 Monday - Friday Oldham We are seeking a proactive, dynamic, and experienced Finance Manager to oversee finance operations within a manufacturing facility. Finance Manager Skills, Experience, and education required: Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) (Desirable) Previous experience as a Finance Manager Proven experience in a manufacturing finance role (Desirable) Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management and manufacturing KPIs Experience preparing management accounts and budgets Good working knowledge of UK VAT and payroll Experience with ERP systems (Desirable) Finance Manager Key Responsibilities and Duties: Financial Control and Reporting Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow Manage budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with UK accounting standards Maintain robust financial controls and procedures Manufacturing Finance and Costing Manage product costing, standard costing and margin analysis Monitor manufacturing variances (materials, labour, overheads) and investigate discrepancies Support operational teams with cost control, efficiency improvements and waste reduction Oversee inventory valuation, stock reconciliations and cycle counts Cash Flow and Working Capital Manage cash flow forecasting and daily cash position Oversee credit control, accounts receivable and accounts payable ..... full job details .....
