CAMM Systems Design Engineer

Hybrid working (2-3 days per week on-site)

Our client, a key player in the defence and security sector, is seeking a CAMM Systems Design Engineer to join their team. This is a permanent position for professionals passionate about obsolescence management and systems engineering. You will be joining a dynamic team dedicated to sustaining and enhancing customer capabilities through the delivery of product increments and spirals.

• Overseeing Systems Design activities at Missile level for the CAMM Obsolescence programme.
• Developing the bid strategy for Systems within the CAMM Obsolescence programme.
• Coordinating multiple sub-system stakeholders to deliver the Design Assurance and Certification plan.
• Leading systems design and technical trade studies successfully.

• Experience in systems engineering, with special emphasis on:
• Requirements management and Use Case analysis
• System architecture design, justification, and traceability
• Interface definition
• Design assurance and verification planning
• Certification
• Proficiency in using Rational DOORS for creating and managing requirement modules and associated verification modules within formal change processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to write clear and concise engineering documentation.
• Excellent verbal communication, listening, and time management skills.
• A desire to develop and grow systems engineering skills and improve methodologies within the team.
