Fleet Administrator

Our client, a leading electrical appliance company based in Leicester, is seeking a Fleet Administrator to support their transport department. This role ensures compliance with legislation, operator licence requirements, and company policies.Key Responsibilities: Maintain the fleet compliance planner (MOT, PMI, LOLER, Tacho inspections, etc.). Monitor and report on fleet service performance. Liaise with maintenance teams and external service providers. Manage vehicle tax, insurance, fines, and compliance documentation. Oversee driver compliance systems (Davis Licence Check, Tachomaster, WTD records). Administer fuel card audits, vehicle telematics, and fleet lists. Process purchase orders and repair approvals. Ensure operator licence compliance.Person Specification: Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Flexible and team-oriented approach. Previous experience in a transport/fleet administration role (essential). Knowledge of Tachomaster (desirable).Location: Leicester.Salary: 30,000 - 32,000 p/a.Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (40 hrs).Training and support provided where necessary.Interested?
