Engineering TechnicianBedlingtonSalary Negotiable Depending on ExperienceOur client is a leader in their field are recruiting for an Engineering Technician to join their growing team!Roles and Responsibilities:Gain and maintain detailed knowledge of the production process and equipmentParticipate in the introduction of new parts including equipment, tooling and proceduresProactively identify opportunities to improve yield or manufacturing efficiency and to instigate and lead continuous improvement activitiesResponding to line stops, taking the required actions to restart production in a timely mannerUpdate and maintain manufacturing documentation, including operator instructions, inspection standards, etcAssist in commissioning and validation of new equipmentAssist in 8D investigations for either external or internal non-conformityIdeal Candidate:Possess or be working towards HNC/HND in an engineering/science/technical discipline or demonstratable equivalent experience (desirable)A strong interest in mechanical, electronic or production engineering (desirable)IT skills (desirable)Excellent interpersonal skillsAbility to build strong relationships and communicate effectively at all levelsCareful attention to detailWork effectively as part of a team, as well as on own initiativeKeen to learn new skillsHave a strong technical biasDemonstrate behaviours in line with our company valuesWorking hours:Earlies: Shift Enhancement = 17.57%Mon - Thursday 6.30am - 2.30pm Fri 6.30am - ..... full job details .....
