Product Manager | Platform andamp; API | Contract SR2 is recruiting for a Product Manager to join a high-traffic Recommendations Platform project via a consultancy partner within the public sector. You will lead on shaping strategy, supporting delivery across infrastructure and platform teams, and ensuring alignment between engineering, data science, and architecture stakeholders while balancing short- and long-term product goals. Key Responsibilities:Work as a Product Manager on platform/infrastructure teams, with a focus on APIs, engineering enablement, and/or cloud infrastructureShape strategy, conduct product discovery, and develop roadmapsManage stakeholder expectations, translating complex technical concepts for varied audiencesIdentify opportunities, frame problems to solve, and set success metrics (OKRs)Support planning and delivery in environments with multiple cross-team dependenciesSkills andamp; Experience:Strong experience as a Product Manager within platform and infrastructure teamsExposure to AWS or equivalent cloud infrastructureFamiliarity with API design principles and operational considerationsExperience with recommendation systems or machine learning-powered products is desirableConfident working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholdersComfortable supporting platform migration and managing platforms at different life cycle stagesDetails:Rate: £500/day (Inside IR35)Length: Until January 2026, with potential extensionStart: ..... full job details .....
