About the Role:
The Pastoral Support Officer will work closely with Heads of Year and the Safeguarding Team to support students'' wellbeing, behaviour, and engagement in school. You will act as a key point of contact for students needing pastoral support and help ensure they can thrive both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pastoral support to students, addressing welfare and behavioural issues.
• Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies where appropriate.
• Support whole-school initiatives to promote positive behaviour and wellbeing.
• Keep accurate records and monitor student progress.
• Assist in safeguarding duties where required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a pastoral or student welfare role within a school.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and empathy.
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
