Legal Secretary
A well-established and highly regarded law firm based in North West London is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join its busy Conveyancing department.This is an excellent hybrid opportunity for a proactive and highly organised Legal Secretary with proven experience across both commercial and residential conveyancing matters. This role is based in North West London, with the office conveniently located and easily commutable. Requires one full day in the office per week.Key Responsibilities:Providing full secretarial support to the Partner within the Conveyancing departmentPreparing legal documents, correspondence, contracts, and carrying out typing/audio typing via digital dictationHandling residential and commercial conveyancing matters from instruction through to post-completionPreparing initial contract packs, completion statements, and supporting documentationOpening files and conducting anti-money laundering (AML) checks and compliance proceduresAssisting with Land Registry applications, registrations, and submission of SDLT returnsSupporting commercial property transactions and portfolio purchasesAssisting with post-completion matters including Land Registry and Companies House registrationsKey Skills:Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within commercial and residential conveyancing is essentialStrong knowledge of both residential and commercial conveyancing proceduresExperienced with digital dictation is essentialStrong organisational and communication ..... full job details .....
