Job Title: HGV Technician
Location: Walthamstow
Salary: Up to -52.8k Basic + Overtime
Shifts: Days

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine servicing, inspections and repairs across the HGV fleet
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
• Complete preventative maintenance to minimise vehicle downtime
• Ensure all vehicles are maintained in line with DVSA safety and compliance standards
• Assist with MOT preparation and compliance checks
• Complete accurate maintenance, service and repair records
• Identify potential issues and recommend appropriate repairs
• Maintain a high standard of health and safety at all times
• Work as part of a professional and supportive workshop team

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or an equivalent qualification
• Previous experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• A proactive approach to preventative maintenance
• A strong understanding of vehicle safety and compliance
• A full UK driving licence
• HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence would be advantageous
