Estimator Job Overview Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for civil engineering, groundworks and drainage projects. Complete quantity take-offs from drawings and tender documentation. Produce Bills of Quantities using estimating software and Microsoft Excel. Liaise with engineering, procurement, commercial and operational teams throughout the tender process. Obtain and review subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing. Assist in developing tender strategies and compiling submission documentation. Support the handover of successful tenders to project delivery teams.
