We''re supporting a leading risk and compliance consultancy to appoint a Fire, Health and Safety Consultant. This role will partner with a range of clients in the built environment, helping them manage risk, strengthen compliance, and improve safety performance through practical, forensic assessment and advice.

The successful Fire, Health and Safety Consultant will:

• Undertake Fire Risk Assessments and General Risk Assessments, ensuring fee targets and quality standards are met
• Deliver clear, pragmatic client reports within agreed SLAs
• Support the design and implementation of site health and safety management systems aligned to client needs
• Deliver onsite briefings and provide actionable recommendations to improve risk controls and compliance
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders and other consultants, sharing knowledge and supporting consistent delivery

The successful candidate will have:

• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) and a minimum Level 3 qualification in fire safety/fire risk
• Strong knowledge of Approved Document B and BS 9999 / BS 9997, and current UK regulations
• Proven experience completing fire and health & safety risk assessments within the built environment (residential and/or commercial)
• Excellent communication and report writing skills, plus recognised fire safety membership (or willingness to obtain) and registration (or willingness to apply) with relevant fire risk assessor registers
