As a Commercial Lines Pricing Associate Director within the UK PandC Consulting Practice you will work beside some of the market’s top thought leaders designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions to pricing and underwriting challenges faced by the world’s leading commercial insurers.In your role you will be helping our clients by:Optimising their Commercial Lines pricing strategies and approachesDelivering pricing and underwriting capability reviews and pricing transformation engagementsHelping to build effective Commercial Lines pricing models, tools and processesDesigning sophisticated MI and portfolio management capabilitiesLeveraging your market knowledge in developing cutting edge solutions for commercial lines pricing in collaboration with various teams from across Willis Towers WatsonBringing innovative data enrichment ideas to harness pricing insights and providing support with their implementation.The RoleYour main responsibilities will be as follows:

ClientsTo build a market profile as a representative and advocate of Willis Towers Watson commercial lines pricing consulting services and software toolsDevelop a trusted advisor relationship with client contacts through effective communication and efficient, quality execution of projectsActively seek to be involved in a variety of work to ensure a broad skill set (technical, management and client) is maintained and developedInterface with colleagues from other practices and regions on assignments that reflect the client’s broader business issuesDemonstrate commitment to Willis Towers Watson professional standards in managing analyses and in communications with clientsThought leadershipTo develop new relevant propositions or to enhance current propositions in commercial lines pricing leveraging Willis Towers Watson’s toolset and broader pricing intellectual property and resourcesLead or contribute to the development of the company’s intellectual capital including plans for taking this to marketHave a desire to establish and enhance a public reputation in a chosen specialism through the production of articles and presentationsFinancial and business developmentMeet goals for billable hours and intellectual capital developmentDevelop and present proposals to potential clients, demonstrating the economic value of the company’s offeringsUse contacts within current network to obtain introductions to new contacts; work to develop supporters for company’s products and servicesPeopleBuild relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teamsServe as a manager or mentor to more junior associatesQualifications

The RequirementsRelevant experience in a Commercial Lines pricing role in an insurance firm or consultancyAbility to work effectively with people from a broad range of professional backgroundsAn advocate for the development of analytical approaches and the adoption of new techniquesAdvocate for the value of data enrichment in commercial lines pricing and underwritingExposure to machine learning or big data techniques beneficialExperience of Radar software is preferredExperience or interest in selling projects to insurance / financial institutionsA track record in innovation and creativity delivering realised revenue enhancementsAbility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and drive change effectively.Strong interpersonal and team skillsSelf-starter attitude and ability to work within ambiguityStrong analytical and creative skillsEnjoy training / mentoring junior staffThe ability to see the "big picture”, leveraging the resources of related practices to address the clients'' business challengesAvailability to travel on an as needed basis, domestically and internationallyWe’re committed to equal employment opportunity and provide application, interview and workplace adjustments and accommodations to all applicants.
