Senior Supervisor - Single Point Access | Young People Mental Health

OverviewAre you a Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist with an interest in mental health and neurodiversity, seeking to work with children and young people in Buckinghamshire? Join the Single Point of Access Team to deliver improved access and outstanding services for children and young people. This is a 12-month fixed-term role for a Senior Spa Supervisor in a dynamic, fast-paced service. You will need a professional qualification and a strong community mental health background, ideally with CAMHS or children’s services experience. This role supports improving services for children and young people’s mental health and well-being across Buckinghamshire.
This role is eligible for an incentive scheme of £3,500 paid in intervals over an 18-month period. All payments are pro-rata, non-pensionable and subject to a clawback clause. Please note that only employees external to Oxford Health NHS are eligible for this scheme.
Responsibilities
Promote the mental and emotional health of children, young people and families in the community; understand their needs, identify risk, and support the family in accessing appropriate services.
Prevent more serious mental health problems in children and young people by early identification of mental health issues.
Maintain a wide range of knowledge in approaches to communicating with and managing care for families, children and young people.
Exhibit excellent communication skills to promote integrated healthcare working internally and externally.
