This role sits within the Business Acceptance function and plays a key part in supporting regulatory compliance, risk management, and new business intake processes. Description Key responsibilities include: Conduct conflict and sanctions searches, analysing results and escalating issues where needed.Review and approve new client and matter requests, ensuring data accuracy and supporting matter security/ethical wall processes.Manage Terms and Conditions and engagement letter workflows, including categorising and uploading agreed terms.Monitor shared inboxes, provide guidance across the firm, and contribute to improving intake processes.Maintain team resources, support training, and build strong internal relationships.Complete additional compliance tasks such as supplier and dealing checks, reporting, and ongoing professional development. Profile The successful candidate would have: 1-2 years'' experience in a similar role, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.Ability to exercise sound judgement, make recommendations, and analyse large volumes of information.Strong online research skills and high attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (Intapp Intake/Conflicts/Terms beneficial).Proactive, organised, and able to manage workload independently while working collaboratively in a team.
