We''re a vibrant, independent bistro and coffee bar serving up scratch-made, soul-satisfying food with an American heart and French and English flair. We''re on the lookout for a Sous Chef who can bring their passion, skills, and creativity to our kitchen-and take the reins when needed. About the Role: As our Sous Chef, you''ll be the right hand to our Executive Chef-and the captain of the ship when they''re off duty. You''ll take charge during quieter shifts, keeping the kitchen running like clockwork while still delivering the highest quality dishes. You''ll be expected to: Lead the kitchen during solo shifts or when the Executive Chef is away Consistently produce our menu of made-from-scratch favourites-think buttermilk pancakes, hash browns, house-made bread, and more Work with a variety of ingredients: from baking and curing meats to crafting satisfying vegan options Uphold high standards of kitchen hygiene, prep, and organisation Collaborate seamlessly with our friendly front-of-house team Get stuck in creatively-your ideas are always welcome!
