Your new School Hays are recruiting a Part-Time SEN Teaching Assistant / Special Needs Educational Support Worker within the Cwmbran area of Torfaen County for a Special Educational Needs School which caters for pupils aged 16 - 25, the majority of which possess ASD, Asperger''s, or a related additional learning need. The role shall involve working alongside a fellow Educational Support Worker / Learning Support Assistant, as well as a Teacher / Tutor. The majority of students are aged 16-19 and are very well-behaved. Your role will largely consist of offering both academic and emotional support. The school takes great care in creating a supportive and inclusive environment from the top down, with clear communication between the teaching staff and leadership team.
