The Role As a HLTA, you will: Deliver engaging phonics and literacy interventions to small groups of pupils. Lead structured intervention sessions independently, supporting children with a range of learning needs and abilities. Use evidence-based phonics programmes, such as Read Write Inc. or similar, to close learning gaps and accelerate progress. Work closely with class teachers and the SENDCo to plan, monitor, and evaluate pupil progress. Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive. Provide regular feedback to staff and pupils, helping to celebrate success and identify next steps.
