This role will be part of both the crane maintenance and workshop material handling equipment (MHE) teams, ensuring the availability, longevity, and compliance of all Port cranes and Material Handling Equipment (MHE). Key responsibilities include conducting annual and periodic inspections, identifying required repairs or parts, and collaborating with workshop supervisors or managers to ensure timely procurement and repairs. The successful candidate will also ensure compliance records for service and repairs are accurately maintained. Additionally, the role may involve assisting with electrical and mechanical maintenance as needed. The position requires participation in an on-call rota with fellow engineers, providing support to the Crane and MHE teams outside of standard working hours when necessary.
