Grounds Maintenance Team Leader Location: Enfield, North LondonSalary: £35,000 per annumHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (Team members are required to arrive at the yard for 7:00am each day.)We are currently recruiting for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to join a well-established grounds maintenance contractor based in Enfield.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach to grounds maintenance, looking to join a professional and growing team.The Role As a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, you will lead a team of two operatives, carrying out grounds maintenance across a variety of sites, including: Commercial properties Residential flats Schools Large housing estates You will be responsible for ensuring all work is completed to a high standard while maintaining excellent health and safety practices.Key Responsibilities Leading and supervising a two-person grounds maintenance team. Driving the company vehicle between sites. Grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, and pruning. Weed control and general horticultural maintenance. Ensuring work is completed efficiently and to specification. Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks. Maintaining high standards of health and safety. Candidate Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: Previous experience in grounds maintenance. Experience leading or supervising a team. A full UK driving licence (essential).
