HGV Class 1 Night Drivers - Portsmouth - 20 PAYE, 22 Umbrella. Drivertemps Limited are recruiting for HGV Class 1 Night trunk drivers to work with our fantastic and longest serving client - a chilled distribution company based in Portsmouth. The Role: Required to drive to and from one of 3 retail distribution centres. Wait for load and return to the depot in Portsmouth. This role involves driving on occasion double decker trailers, so good geographical knowledge is required. Experience and Knowledge: You should have ideally held your HGV 1 Licence for a minimum 6 months. New Passes welcome subject to assessment and interview. No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions. Hold a current valid CPC Card (DQC). Understand and be able to comply with Driver hours and WTD legislation. Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly. Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements. Good geographical knowledge of the south of England. Have the experience and knowledge to be able to divert cross country to and from locations as and when signs, traffic or other conditions dictate. Remuneration: PAYE or Umbrella 20 PAYE or 22 umbrella per hour Monday - Friday Nights. Minimum pay of 8 hours. 22 PAYE or 25 umbrella per hour for Saturday or Sunday. Minimum pay of 8 hours.
