Behaviour Support Assistant (Full-Time) ASAP StartLocation: Enfield, Northt LondonSalary: £475 £500 per week (dependent on experience and/or qualifications) weekly pay (PAYE)Start Date: Oct 2025/Immediate startThe Role A specialist provision in Enfield, a short walk from Tukey Street station is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Assistant to support young people aged 7 16 who are currently outside of mainstream education to support a year 11 class. Many of the pupils have experienced disrupted learning, social challenges, or involvement with external agencies, and require a high level of pastoral care to help them thrive.This is a highly rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting the wellbeing and personal development of vulnerable young people. As a Pastoral Mentor, you will be a trusted adult, helping students build resilience, develop positive relationships, and re-engage with education in a safe and supportive environment.What You ll Be Doing: Building strong, supportive relationships to create a sense of trust and belonging Providing pastoral support around emotional wellbeing, attendance, and safeguarding concerns Encouraging positive decision-making and self-regulation strategies Acting as a consistent role model, offering guidance and encouragement Working closely with teaching staff, families, and external agencies to deliver holistic support plans Promoting inclusion and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning ..... full job details .....
