Job descriptionStructured Power Trader – PropWe are partnered on exciting opportunity for an experienced Power Trader within a large European Utility. This role focuses on Trading and Structuring transactions with corporate, wholesale and industrial clients, collaborating with a global team across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:Manage positions and maintain market oversight.

Build and sustain relationships with wholesale customers and corporate clients.

Lead an Analyst, oversee marketing efforts, and represent the company at industry events.

Execute trades to optimise book value and originate contracts to drive revenue.

Conduct market analysis and support Origination and Structured Trading teams.

What We’re Looking For:Experience in trading Gas, Power, Energy Attribute Certificates, and/or Carbon Emissions Reduction Certificates.

Strong background in marketing commodity products to corporate clients.

Ability to analyse market trends and develop commercial strategies.

Established network in European energy markets and expertise in the full deal lifecycle.

Deep knowledge of the renewable energy sector, including regulations and market fundamentals.
