We Recruit Group is working on behalf of a growing specialist contractor delivering fa-ade remediation and fire safety projects across London and the South East.

Due to a strong pipeline of secured work, we are looking to appoint an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial team on a range of high-profile remediation and cladding replacement schemes.

The Role

You''ll take commercial responsibility for multiple fa-ade and remediation projects, working closely with the Commercial Director, Project Managers and site teams to ensure projects are delivered profitably and commercially managed throughout.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing subcontractor procurement and accounts
• Valuations, applications for payment and variations
• Cost reporting and forecasting
• Contract administration
• Managing change control and commercial risk
• Final accounts
• Working closely with operational teams to maximise project performance

About You

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction
• Experience working on fa-ade, cladding, remediation, fire safety or external envelope projects is highly desirable
• Good understanding of JCT contracts
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple live projects
• Available to start at short notice
