This pivotal position entails designing efficient landing gear systems for civil and military aircraft, supporting their entire lifecycle from concept to production.Purpose:To design and detail efficient landing gear systems for aircraft, ensuring they meet stringent customer demands. The role supports the design and manufacture of these systems throughout their entire lifecycle. Supporting on existing programme design work. Key Responsibilities:Support all aspects of concept to detail design throughout the life cycle of landing gear programmesSupport product configuration processesUtilise the latest technology, including CAD, 3D modelling, 2D draughting, and data management systemsDesign to meet exacting customer requirements and industry standardsDeliver technical presentations to customersCoordinate with team members, chief engineers, programme management, manufacturing teams, and colleagues at other sitesCollaborate with manufacturing teams to reduce non-conformances on productsAssist with the offload of packages of work to other sitesWork toward achieving Design check signatory statusMentor and coach junior team membersSkills Required:Essential:Degree in a relevant engineering disciplineSolid understanding of design and manufacturing processes, within the aerospace industryProficient in both traditional and ..... full job details .....
