Hays are recruiting an International Tax Manager or Assistant Manager for their client, a firm of chartered accountants and business advisors.This exciting role can be based in any of their offices across East Anglia or London and offers flexible and hybrid working. The roleTheir Tax Team supports clients across the spectrum-from high-net-worth individuals to large corporates and not-for-profit entities. In this role, your primary focus will be advisory work, particularly for large and international corporates. You will tackle complex tax matters, such as: transfer pricing, permanent establishment, corporate residence, controlled foreign companies, anti-hybrid rules, withholding taxes and interest restriction and tax governance.Key dutiesOverseeing tax advisory assignments, ensuring they progress efficientlyReviewing client assignment files to ensure completenessMentoring and motivating team members with effective communicationIdentifying specialist tax work and referring clients to colleagues Optimising assignment recovery and recommending efficiency improvementsManaging client AMLs and ongoing AML checksTo be successfulCTA/ ACA or ACCA qualified / nearly qualified and have Tax experience in advisory work for large and international corporates Salary and benefitsCompetitive salary 23-25 days holiday (+ buy/sell options) Private medical cover Contributory pension scheme 4x ..... full job details .....
