Are you an experienced Procurement Officer ready to drive sustainable procurement solutions and create a greener UK? You ll act as a single point of contact for procurement in your assigned area, purchasing Indirect goods, managing a portfolio of suppliers and supporting strategic sourcing to achieve cost-effective, compliant solutions. Your key responsibilities will include: • Managing the full end-to-end procurement process across delegated categories • Leading supplier negotiations and contract development for local and international suppliers • Supporting supplier due diligence, performance monitoring, and risk management • Producing tender and procurement plans, and managing competitive tenders • Liaising with internal customers to understand requirements and align procurement activity • Managing imports, pricing updates, and supplier data within procurement systems • Reporting on cost savings, supplier performance, and sustainability metrics • Supporting strategic procurement and European/global projects as required • Attending supplier meetings and representing procurement at operational reviews Willingness to travel within the UK (frequently) and Europe ..... full job details .....
