This Project Engineer/Manager opportunity involves managing projects from receipt of order through installation, commissioning, handover and final payment, with responsibility for budgets, quality and site progress. The role As a Project Engineer/Manager, your responsibilities will include:Managing installation work, variations, snagging, defects, commissioning and handover.Controlling project budgets, interim applications, variations and final accounts.Recording changes and obtaining formal instructions before additional work or material purchases.Monitoring site progress against programme and highlighting potential delays early.Preparing weekly client and internal reports covering progress, labour, manufacturing requirements and finances.Carrying out accurate site surveys and providing information and sketches for working drawings.Attending client meetings and coordinating subcontractors.Checking subcontractor insurance and competency certification.Delivering and recording toolbox talks and health and safety audits.Preparing risk assessments and method statements.Obtaining competitive supplier quotations, including at least three quotes for bought-out ..... full job details .....
