Our client, a leader in manufacturing/engineering components, is currently seeking a skilled Buyer to join their procurement supply chain team. Operating internationally, our client strives to deliver a hassle-free experience for customers around the globe, leveraging extensive manufacturing and distribution capabilities.Key Responsibilities:Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and compliance with quality standardsNegotiate supplier contracts and manage supplier relationshipsRaise quotations and process supplier purchase ordersManage order books and expedite orders to minimise delaysTrack purchase orders and coordinate logistics, including shipments via air, road, and seaMonitor and report on supplier performance, including on-time delivery and product qualityEnsure ERP parameters are maintained and updated as necessaryCollaborate with internal teams to address and resolve procurement issuesJob Requirements:Experience in a procurement or supply chain roleExcellent communication and negotiation skillsStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyUnderstanding of logistics and IncotermsProficiency with ERP systemsPositive mindset and problem-solving attitudeAdherence to policies, procedures, and safe working practicesEducation and Qualifications:Relevant qualifications in procurement or supply chain managementDesirable: CIPS qualifications, Excel proficiency, ERP literatureBenefits:Competitive salaryOpportunity ..... full job details .....
